The David Hall
A short History
The David Hall is a beautiful building dating from 1775, it was a United Reform Church until 1980 when it was bought by local businessman Brian Hall. The Petherton Arts Trust leased the hall in August 1989 and one condition was that the hall be called The David Hall after Brians son David. In 1993, with the help of various grants, The Petherton Arts Trust bought the hall and it has become one of South Somerset’s premier venues for performing arts and a plethora of community events.
The Petherton Arts Trust is a non profit registered charity.
